This is a work that decorates the main visuals at the world's first Sukajan exhibition "PRIDE OF YOKOSUKA Sukajan Exhibition" held at the Yokosuka Museum of Art in the fall of 2022. The original vintage was embroidered in a custom order of U.S. soldiers stationed at Yokosuka Base in 1946, shortly after the war. It is a valuable work made in the early days of Sukajan, and has only been found in this one in Taylor Toyo. The motif is the dragon rising to heaven because Yokosuka is a navy city. The outer material of Dark Navy is a wool gabazine reproduced based on vintage. It is characterized by a very time -consuming structure that sets it apart from other Sukajan. Vintage is one -sided specification, but it has been changed to reversible specification, the largest characteristic of Sukajan, when reprinted as a special edition commemorating the exhibition. This reversible surface is a special specification of this time, which combines multiple vintage embroidery, and the fabric is an all -black acetate. Since Yokosuka is a Navy's Navy's Navy, it is embroidered with destroyers and dragons that symbolize Navy Base (Navy base), as well as Japanese maps and Mt. Fuji. At that time, the reversible surface was written on the upper part of "JAPAN" at the bottom of "JAPAN" at the bottom of "YOKOSUKA" on the surface described "YOKOSUKA JAPAN" based on brush letters. “Kosho & Co” Special Edition This special edition is the details of the gem that are particularly carefully selected in the details of the Taylor Oriental collection. In addition to the design drawn with sidewalk embroidery, the driving of the acetate fabric is adjusted, finished as a vintage, and the wool ribs are woven one by one using an old -fashioned horizontal knitting machine. For reversible fasteners, fastening machines more than 50 years ago were restarted, reproducing the same hand -bent one. The label of the Kosho Shokai, the predecessor of the Taylor Oriental, is reminiscent of the peak of the vintage Scajan. |
