TMA2319 / TOYS McCOY MILITARY KNIT MUFFLER "RED CROSS"

The scarves issued by the U.S. Army during World War II were made of brushed wool, but what came in handy on the battlefield were comfort wool-knit mufflers collected from citizens by the Red Cross throughout the United States.
A book explaining how to knit them was published at the time, and families and loved ones wishing for the soldiers' victory and return home sent them through the Red Cross.
The knit scarf released this time is a reproduction of the knitting method used at that time.
