FEATURES
This work, with its bold layout of monstera leaves and pineapples, was produced at the time of its creation. It is relatively old, dating back to the late 1940s, and is very popular among collectors. The original was produced by Kihikihi, a long-established brand that has produced many popular pieces since that time. The brand has long existed as a clothing manufacturer in Hawaii, and was succeeded by Wong's Products before the war, and then by Honolulu Garment Company after the war. The brand is known for creating its own aloha shirt culture by not only using fabrics imported from Japan but also ordering original designs.
