Among souvenir jackets, this is the most standard reversible style, made with acetate fabric on both sides.
In the years following World War II, many original sukajan jackets were made from acetate, a material that was not subject to the same postwar material controls and was valued for its refined, silk-like sheen. Its smooth surface and elegant luster give the jacket a distinctive presence, while still retaining the casual spirit and bold character that define the souvenir jacket.
