In the 1960s, NASA partnered with Charles Schulz, the creator of *Peanuts*, to inspire interest and excitement about the space program among Americans. It’s well known that during the Apollo 10 mission, the command module was named *Charlie Brown* and the lunar module was named *Snoopy*. This partnership continues today, and there is even an award called the Silver Snoopy Award, which honors contributions to the success and safety of space missions. The design is the same as the one on this sweatshirt.
