BR02719 / BUZZ RICKSON'S BELT, WEB, WAIST, EM M-1937

GI trouser belt adopted by the U.S. Army in 1937. The belt width is 1-1/4 inches, woven in the same thick weave as at that time. The buckle, painted black on brass, features a strong grip by biting through the entire belt width, rather than a pin fastening type. The back of the belt is marked with "U.S. J.Q.M.D.," indicating government service, and the year and size of the belt.
