Feature
This Viet-Jan was ordered locally by an American soldier in the late 1960s.
The letters QUINHON, the city where the soldier was stationed, are embroidered in a color thread that contrasts strongly with the body, a rare color scheme among Vietjeans.
In addition to the black model with its distinctive pink acetate lining, the jacket is also available in green and pink cotton twill, both of which are rare even among vintage jackets.

VIETNAM JACKET
Similar to the Sukajan born in postwar Japan, the Vietnam Jacket, also known as the Viet-jan, was born during the Vietnam War from the 1960s to the 1970s.
Two types of fabrics were mainly used: cotton twill or camouflage poncho liners, with designs embroidered with matte, thick-colored thread.
