The heyday of the aloha shirt was a time when many brands developed their own designs and competed with each other for perfection. The motifs varied from detailed to abstract, and many unique patterns were created. This first reissue of the pattern is also an original design from that era, with the main motif of the Night Blooming Sirius (Gekka Bijin) and the names of the Hawaiian islands interspersed as if filling in the gaps. Many different patterns were produced and then discontinued, and new patterns were released one after another, and many of them were produced in very small quantities.
