It is said that the roots of the "Sukajan" date back to shortly after World War II, when American soldiers stationed in Japan ordered tailor stores to embroider oriental patterns and emblems of their units and bases as commemorative items at the U.S. military base in Yokosuka.
The surface depicts a scene from a festival that enshrines a power loom so that high-quality denim can be woven throughout the year. Indy and Clipper wearing happi coats carrying a portable shrine are depicted in intricate embroidery.
The reverse side is a landscape painting featuring a vintage ska-janes.
