VELVETEEN (TWO-TONE) SOUVENIR JACKET
A souvenir jacket made from two colors of velveteen fabric, with a distinctive two-tone construction that switches between the body and the underside of the sleeves.
This style is known to have existed in vintage examples, yet it remains an exceptionally rare model, with only a handful of surviving pieces confirmed worldwide. Unlike ordinary velveteen souvenir jackets, all known existing examples of this type are made without padding.
The reversible side is finished in satin fabric, but unlike quilted souvenir jackets, it is constructed without quilting stitches, giving the piece a clean, understated structure that reflects the character of the original vintage specification.
