TT15682-119 / TAILOR TOYO Early 1950s Style Acetate Souvenir Jacket “WHITE DRAGON” × “EAGLE”

Faithfully recreated on both sides from an early 1950s piece recently acquired in pristine, mint condition, this jacket revives the authentic vintage atmosphere of the original. The front side features a striking design of a white dragon, meticulously embroidered from head to tail in its entirety. The size of the embroidery itself is larger compared to others, making it a standout piece. The body and ribbing are kept monochromatic in black and white, allowing the dragon's flames in red and its mane in orange to pop against the black satin fabric. However, upon closer inspection, the thread colors are not overly vivid but instead capture the subtle, refined tones of traditional Japanese aesthetics.

The reversible side showcases an eagle perched on pine branches with its wings spread wide. The eagle, with a charmingly stylized expression, is beautifully rendered in a gradient of brown, silver, and white threads. Set against a rare orange body, the pine needles—embroidered in soft and deep green threads—add a striking contrast. Both sides of the jacket also feature a rare detail: three stitched lines along the shoulder seams, a unique element seldom seen in vintage pieces.
