SC38992 / Mister Freedom x SUN SURF ROCK'N ROLL SHIRT - ACTION PACKED TYPE II - 

This "Rock'n Roll Shirt - Action Packed - Type II" is a modification of the "Rock'n Roll Shirt" collar released in 2015. 

The image was inspired by civilian clothing worn by military personnel in the FROGSVILLE collection during R&R (Rest & Recuperation = rest and recovery). There are records that some of the Special Forces team members of the time liked to wear flashy shirts while on leave from their Southeast Asian missions, and the story is constructed from such episodes.

The print design was based on printed fabrics from the 1950s, collected by designer Christophe Roualon and archived at Mr. Freedom. The design, called "ACTION PACKED," depicts diving, racing, surfing, and boating, and is reproduced using Sun Surf's printing technology, which is based on multicolor plates that are rubbed over each other to dye the pattern colors from the base color.
