This herringbone fabric was developed as anti-gas protective clothing during World War II.
This shirt is a Buzz Lixons original. Compared to the herringbone fabric normally used for shirts, about twice the amount of yarn is used to produce this fabric, so it can withstand hard use, and the more it is worn, the more its texture increases.
