Knitted garments were woven by citizens of the United States in memory of their husbands, fathers, and friends fighting on the battlefields.
During World War II, there was an effort to send such knitwear to battlefields as comfort items through the American Red Cross.
We have reproduced a knit cap that follows the style of those days.
