Sunsurf receives numerous requests for reprints of aloha shirts. One of the designs that continues to be requested is the "Hawaiian Hospitality" design, which is often featured in books dealing with vintage Aloha shirts and is very popular among collectors. The design depicts the Hawaiian hospitality of welcoming visitors to Hawaii after a long cruise, and features many popular motifs, including the Aloha Tower, the luxury Mattson Line liner Lua Line, and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Of particular note is the depiction of the Statue of King Kamehameha and the Statue of Liberty side by side, further enhancing the value of the work and making it a very extravagant design.

The original was created by Kilohana Distributors, Inc. The company was founded in the early 1950s, when the demand for aloha shirts exploded not only in Hawaii but also in the mainland United States.
