Crafted from a newly developed 12oz original Wabash denim in a deep indigo shade, this chore coat is part of The Strike Gold's UTILITY STANDARD Series.
The fabric features a classic Wabash pattern of fine dots created through a discharge-dyeing process on richly dyed indigo denim. Unlike conventional printing, which applies a pattern onto the fabric's surface, discharge dyeing removes color from the already-dyed cloth. This process gives Wabash denim its distinctive character, creating a subtle yet expressive contrast against the deep indigo background.
Drawing on the straightforward, functional construction of the traditional American chore coat, this jacket preserves the essential character of classic workwear while reinterpreting its appearance through The Strike Gold's newly developed Wabash denim.
At 12oz, the fabric strikes a considered balance between the substantial character expected of a work jacket and the versatility needed for everyday layering. The garment is finished with a one-wash treatment.
Beginning with its rich, dark indigo color and neatly defined dotted pattern, the denim gradually develops its own character through repeated wear and washing.     Orders under $400: Flat rate of 5,000 yen

  • Domestic (Japan):
    Free shipping on orders over 5,000 yen
